The holidays are upon us!

And now more than ever, it is important for us all to celebrate the season and dwell on the idea of what it is to give a gift, and what is the best way to serve our fellow man.

Here in the Victore studio, we've been re-reading favorties like, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," and "The Gift" by Lewis Hyde. Our thoughts are steeped in the spirit of giving. It is a joyous time to be alive!

We hope you are all having a marvelous season, and we encourage you to think of new ways to give this year. Instead of just your inner circle of friends and family, why not try widening the circle of your gift? One fine example we've found is an organization called Heifer Project International. They make it possible for you to donate a farm animal to a family less fortunate than yourself. And what's really awesome is their idea of “Passing on the Gift” which means recipients agree to share the offspring of gift animals with others in need, making them equal partners with Heifer in the fight to end world hunger.

This is just one example of how we can learn to give not only to each other, but to the world. We hope you all can find inspiration in it and we encourage you to pass that inspiration along. Cheers and best wishes! LV + JV
